Elan takes the issue of accessibility very seriously
and is committed to providing an accessible website for all
our customers.
Making our websites accessible remains an ongoing effort
and further improvements are planned to enhance the experience of
users. This page gives information on features that are
currently included within our site.
Design
Where possible throughout the website we have used an accessible
design as well as providing text only pages for users.
Frames
We have
not used frames throughout this site.
Graphics/Pictures
Where we have used graphics or pictures we have included text
descriptions ('Alt-Tags'), as required by internationally
recognised Web accessibility guidelines. All graphical navigation
buttons are similarly 'Alt-tagged'.
Language
We have tried to describe our services in a plain and simple
way.
Where we have used acronyms and industry/company
specific terminology we have provided a definition
of it's meaning in the
Word List
within our Help section.
Navigation
To help you
quickly find the section you need we have provided a standard way
of navigating to pages. Main sections and a Search facility
are listed at the top of the screen. Sub sections are listed on the
left hand side of your screen and functional pages such as Office
Locator, Text only and Help pages are listed at the bottom of the
screen.
You can also use our Site Map which can be
accessed from the hyperlinks at the bottom of the screen.
Viewing
Options
Although we have used a large clear font throughout this website,
we have given you the option of changing the font size and colour
contrast by using our
Text Only pages which can be
accessed from our footer links at the bottom of each
page.
Note: Text Only pages are not yet
available in the My Elan section
of our websites.
You can change web page viewing settings via your Internet
Browser. If you would like more information about changing your
viewing options see our Help page.
