Elan ranked in the top ten of Britain's Top Employers
2008.
Benchmarked against 100 other companies, Elan is delighted to
be ranked as n°8 in Britain's Top Employers 2008 – Best
examples of HR management organised by Guardian Books and the
Corporate Research Foundation (CRF).
The publication explains that 'all the companies that have
been selected for Britain's Top Employers 2008 have
leading-edge approaches to communicating with employees, improving
productivity and mobilising people for competitive
advantage.'
An independent panel judged a certain set of criteria to
determine Britain's top employers. Elan has made a huge investment
in the eight areas reviewed by the CRF – pay and benefits, career
and training, knowledge management, employee relations, diversity,
leadership, CSR and environmental sustainability, as we strive to
be an employer of choice.
Recognition by this independent body has confirmed that we are
making the right investment in the right HR management practices
and providing competitive and rewarding packages to our
employees.
Elan's Chief Operating Officer, Patricia Asemota, sums up our
success in just a few words. 'We have worked over the years to
develop Elan as a great place to work which fulfils mental
challenges, spiritual, emotional/ social and physical/ economic
needs. This is the HR philosophy on which we have built our
corporate vision.'
We are delighted to be included in this publication alongside
organisations such as Hydrogen, Camelot Group Plc, GlaxoSmithKline
and Mcdonalds Restaurants Ltd.
