By Train
Manchester Piccadilly Station:
- Take train or Metro Tram to Altrincham station direct.
- Turn right out of Altrincham Station onto Stamford New Road.
Continue for approx. 400 yards. Once you have past the 'The
Barrington' pub on right hand side St John's House is next building
on right hand side.
Victoria Station: Take train or Metro Tram to
Altrincham Station direct then follow as above.
Oxford Road Station: Walk to Deansgate and
take Metro Tram direct to Altrincham Station direct then follow as
above.
From the M60:
- By road from M60 (Manchester Ring Road) take Junction 7 onto
Chester Road (A56), follow signs for Altrincham / Sale. Stay on A56
for approx. 6 miles passing 'The Pelican' pub on left and Halfords
store on left. Turn left at the Cresta Court Hotel onto Woodlands
Road (A560).
- Take 1st right at traffic lights onto Barrington Road. Office
and short term parking approx. 200 yards on left hand side.
By Car
From the M6 (Northbound):
- Exit M6 at Junction 19; take right at roundabout onto A556
towards Altrincham.
- Follow for approximately 4 miles passing through 2 sets of
major traffic lights. At large roundabout, straight across (2nd
exit) onto Dunham Road (A56) signposted for Altrincham.
- Follow for approx. 3 miles (passing through 1st set of traffic
lights and passing under Green Pedestrian Iron Bridge) into the
centre of Altrincham. At 2nd set of traffic lights take right
filter lane. Turn right onto Woodlands Road (A560). Continue as
above,
From the M60:
- From the M6 (Southbound)
- Exit M6 at Junction 19; take 1st left at roundabout onto A556
towards Altrincham. Continue as above, 'From the M6
(Northbound)'.
By Air
From Manchester Airport: Take M56 towards
Chester. Exit Junction 7 and follow slip road over bridge keeping
in right hand lane. At roundabout turn right (3rd exit) onto Dunham
Road (A56) signposted for Altrincham.
Continue as 'From the M6'
