Cookies

  • If you intend to use our My Elan section please ensure that the accepting cookies option is turned on in your browser (Internet Explorer etc) settings .
  • The Cookie will create a session and will expire and be deleted from your PC once you have finished using My Elan.
 

My Elan Login and Session

 
  • Use the Quick Registration Form to register with Elan.
    Note: your Username is your Email address.
  • After you Login to My Elan you create a session which gives you access to My Elan for 30 minutes.
  • You will be prompted to Login again after 30 minutes if you still wish to use My Elan.
  • We do not require you to Log Out as this is done automatically when the session ends.
 
JavaScripts

  • JavaScripts are small programs built into web pages to add extra features, such as the ability for a web page to open popup windows or check that you have completed a form completely.
  • If you intend to use the My Elan section of our website. We require you to have JavaScript support turned on in your browser.
  • Not all browsers support JavaScript, if your browser does not support JavaScript you may not be able to access all areas of our site. We recommend that you use a JavaScript compliant browser such as Internet Explorer.
 
Pop up windows

  • Some Internet Browsers may require you to give permission for a pop up windows to open within the website you are browsing.
  • If you intend to use our My Elan Job Search you may have to set your browser to allow pop up windows while you use our site.

Applying for vacancies

 

When you find a suitable vacancy you will need to register with My Elan. When you have completed the My Elan Quick Registration your details and CV are then attached to your application and sent to our recruiters for reference.

 

  • Click the Job Title link
    View the job details
  • Click the Apply button
  • Select a CV to send from those you have added to My Elan
  • Add any Further Comments you wish to make
  • Click the Submit button to send your application

CV's/Resume's

  • You are able to upload up to 5 different CV's into the My Elan contractor database using our Manage My CV's page. This is so that you may provide CV's that focus on more than one area of expertise.
  • When you upload your CV it is automatically added to our job seekers database so that our consultants can help you find the right vacancy as quickly as possible.

Changing your CV's in our database

  • To change CV's which you have already added to our database please go to Manage My CV's and click the Email Doc button.
  • When you have recieved your CV via email you can then change and upload the new CV in the Manage My CV's page.

Vacancies by Email (Email Alerts)

 

  • Your Saved Searches criteria is used to send you the latest jobs via email.
  • You can change your Saved Searches criteria to change the type of vacancies that are mailed to you.
  • Email Alerts are sent on a daily basis.
  • You will be sent an alert if there are vacancies matching your Saved Searches criteria.
 
Note: Job Alerts are currently only sent in English language.
 

Stopping Vacancies by Email

 

To stop receiving vacancy emails from Elan;

 

  • Log into My Elan
  • Go to the "Full Registration Details" page
  • Click "Next" to go to page 2
  • Uncheck the "Jobs By Email" Checkbox
  • Click "Next"
  • Click "Finish"
 
Your new settings will be saved and you will no longer receive email job alerts. There is no need to log out as your My Elan session will expire after 30 minutes.

SkillSoft Online IT Training

  • If you registered with ElanIT some time ago you may have to create a new account to be able to access SkillSoft Online Training. Details about how to do this are on the My Elan homepage.

 

Unsubscribing from My Elan

 

  • If you wish to unsuscribe from My Elan please email webmaster@elanit.com. Stating the email address you have used for your My Elan account if it is different from that you are using to send the mail. Once you have unsubscribed it will mean that you are no longer registered with us and will not be able to access our training and apply for vacancies.

Forgotten your password?

 

  • Please use the Forgotten your password page in our My Elan section.
  • This can be accesssed via the My Elan login in the Jobseekers page
  • Enter your Email address and you will be emailed your password if it corresponds with your username/registered Email address.
